Spot-fixing: NCP asks cricket board chief N Srinivasan to step down

With the spot-fixing probe widening and Mumbai Police likely to question Gurunat Meiyappan, the son-in-law of BCCI chief N Srinivasan, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has said that Mr Srinivasan should step down.

"N Srinivasan should immediately resign keeping morality in mind, until the investigation is complete," NCP leader DP Tripathi said today.
