Ever since the spot-fixing story surfaced, there has been a countrywide outrage and pressure on the BCCI to enforce some stringent laws. The scam, perhaps, merited a stronger response than just accrediting player agents and making it mandatory for every IPL team to have one anti-corruption official on board, two decisions that were made at the board’s emergency working committee meeting in Chennai on Sunday.

But while the BCCI has stopped here, Rajasthan Royals have decided to file an FIR against S Sreesanth and his accomplices.
